Weather Mate Pro - Forecast App Reviews

This is my first review EVER. I have tried and used numerous weather apps but this is head and shoulders above the others. I have used Weather Mate for some time now and have been impressed but recently had a small issue and contacted the developer. Bingo, just like that, there was a reply that corrected my concern. Accuracy naturally is #1 concern but the small things make an outstanding app and Weather Mate has completed this task.

Love this weather app. And the response of the devs on a bit of trouble I had yesterday. Decided to email the devs. I got a response right away. The problem was that the badge icon wasnt updating for a couple of days. 8 hours later all fixed with a reply saying so. I love everything about this app. Especially picking the correct personal weather station closest to my house. Buy this, it wont disappoint!

This is like The Weather Channel on steroids. Theres just nothing to dislike.

Probably the best weather app I have used. I am very picky about a weather app and have tried countless apps. Many options to view conditions as well as map options. Very accurate weather reporting. My go to app after spend much time and money trying out other apps. Widget offers great snap shot as well. Only area for needed improvement is the icon on the desktop.

Choose one or more cities. Choose the particular weather station for that city. Theres refresh functionality. Severe weather alerts. Daily textual descriptions of the weather. An hourly details screen. Landscape and portrait. Runs on iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch, iOS 6 or later. Visually, Weather Mate Pro incorporates brilliantly detailed screens of current weather conditions set atop a continually moving background of landscaped earth and sky gently scrolling left to right in weather-relevant light and color, giving the user a subliminal sense of weather change in real-time. Like all things theres room for improvement -- user selectivity for the amount of detailed weather data, for one. Your email to product support gets responded to. Aside from being an amazing 3D work-of-art, Weather Mate Pro gets with the details!

One small bug. Currently, (4/25/16), wind displays 0MPH but is in fact 27MPH SSW. (All other weather sources agree on the latter.) This is the only weather app you need. Go to wunderground.com and find the name of the weather station nearest you and plug it in for ultra-accurate results. Weathermate has the fullest, most condensed, most easy to read and access summary of conditions of all weather apps. BTDT. I forget how I found out about WeatherMate: the best weather apps are hidden gems, not widely publicized. I have the two other best (unnamed) weather apps, waiting as "purchased, not on this iPad", if WeatherMate ever goes south. But for now, WeatherMate it is.
