This app is excellent as it allows me to use my personal weather station as the current weather source. However, many times, the Apple Watch complication will not update. This needs to be improved. I’ve also run into watch screens that say ‘network not available’ when all my other apps are connected and updating with no issues. Please fix both these issues.

Would be the perfect weather app EXCEPT it has a green map background and green rain. Hard to tell the difference. The App Store shows a white background which would be perfect. Too bad, what you see isn’t what you get.

I paid for this app and used it for years but a recent update broke it so that it now crashes on my watch. Hope it gets fixed because I loved it and the complications were great.

With the most recent update and the many new options for the complications to use on Apple Watch with a reasonable price for the Pro version, this is the best app I have found for showing the weather on my Watch. It is also nice to have the very local forecast. Great work on the many benefits of the recent update for both the Watch and iPhone. Thanks.

Firstly…love the new complications for the watch. However there seems to be a connectivity issue. It is not updating the weather info and frequently just not working. Please keep up the good work, Im sure you will sqaush these bugs soon

This would be perfect if not for the annoying current daily temperature hiss and lows including the following days morning(after midnight) temps. Please fix this.

The app is good but man I get way off forecasts. I’m talking the forecast is snow but it’s rain only and 45-50 degrees. This happens to often. Comparing to other apps this is very inaccurate. They may choose a bigger area and average temps, etc.

This app has plenty of features and widgets. What really sets this app apart from other weather apps is the support team. If something is broken, the team is quick to respond and sometimes pushes out a fix within a few days. They are also responsive to feedback and feature requests. Can’t recommend it enough.

I've used this app for over a year and it's very informative and customizable. Also great customer response! I had a suggestion and sent it to Customer Support - I received a reply just 5 minutes later! Keep up the good work, folks!

I woke up recently to discover that a watch complication that I rely on throughout the day is just gone. It was replaced by perhaps well intentioned but ultimately inferior replacements. There used to be a simple complication with red and blue lines that CLEANLY showed the next 24 hours in a glance. It also succinctly displayed the current temp along with the min/max forecast. If you live or travel somewhere with rapidly changing weather conditions, this is invaluable. The not-so-clean or really all that useful replacements are not on par. Sometimes well enough should really be left alone. This tells me they do not value what their customers paid for.

Reported issue with Iwatch app: No gps connection. Checked the settings which are rarely touch. Checked iwatch app, all clear. Contacted support who said to check connections and didn’t appear concerned. Didn’t have issues with any connection except just woke up with weather function missing when it worked previous night before bedtime. Solution: uninstall app on iPhone & Iwatch the reinstalled. App worked as usual. Then install onto Iwatch. Bluetooth/wifi is on along with location services. Took awhile for Iwatch app to connect. Had to redo settings like it was a new setup. Went outside of building and it worked better! But it worked before! Could it be a bug from last update v7.9.6 which added multiple complications?? No reply from support even after sending email update.

This is my go-to weather app, however, the latest update has been riddled with issues. I had to uninstall and reinstall the app from my watch several times before it worked. The app also does not seem as accurate in terms of temperature as it has been, but I will keep an eye on that, since I believe the data is still coming from the same source as pre-update. The worst part, though, is that they removed custom complications. I can no longer, with any setting, get the “feels like” temperature the way I used to. I now have to click into the app and wait for it to update to get the data I need. A bit of a disappointing update, but still a worthwhile app to check out, especially if you’re new to the app and not used to their former settings and customizations.

3 days ago, I could glance at my watch and see the temperature. Now it just shows sunny, cloudy icons, etc. I have to tap the image, wait for the app to refresh, and flip screens to see the current temperature. Am I missing a setting that I need to make on my watch? This used to be a 5 star app. But you dropped the ball on the latest update.

Newest update broke showing the temperature on Apple watch 10. I have to touch the weather app on icon on iPhone to see the numerical temperature. It wasn’t like that before update. I have tried restarting watch and phone. Edit - I mistyped stating problem was on phone icon when I meant my Apple Watch 10. I have now tried restarting watch and phone and deleting app from phone and watch. Restarted both several times. Haven’t tried unpairing and repairing. If I have to do that I will drop my paid version of weather mate pro and find an app that works without troubleshooting.

Immediately after the 7.9.6 update came out the complications for the watch are broken. There is a new and useless interface in the phone’s app that removed all of the customization options for choosing individual complications in the infographic watch face. The temperature highs and lows are incorrectly displayed (they are reversed). Not sure what the developers were thinking on this latest update. Please revert back to the previous version.

Bought the pro but now this app wants money for a weather source subscription. Wow

It used to be the best weather app but since the weather maps of the lows and highs and the fronts always are not updating it’s not good anymore. I have found 1 new app as the have all of those features and a secondary map that have the fronts and pressure systems and are always updating. I loved this app but not so much anymore. There has been no updates for two months. It’s not available for android and my other new ones are. Thanks for the time I have had the app

I mean it. Well, it doesn’t scratch your back nor rub your temples. But as far as ‘local’ weather forecasting, there isn’t anything better out there. Still! After way longer than a decade of use. I actually enjoy watching the satellite radar cloud movement. Every bit as good as a screen saver. (It would be nice if the weather map could do landscape orientation.)

This app does what we want in an app. Not much fluff, concise data and good radar. Historical data is good also. The changes recently made are very nice. I’m deleting it

I like the app but please add river levels, it is part of the national weather service NWS and rivers here in the PNW can reach flood stage fast so it would be nice to see predictions for them in advance

They always forecast snow, then instead we get rain, they change it to rain an hour before it starts. Not sure where they get their information, I wish it was more accurate because I do like the app. I do not depend on their forecast anymore. I gave two stars because the radar is good.

My family has used several weather apps over the last 2 decades. Unfortunately when we discovered apps that we really loved, they were bought out by The Weather Channel and then Apple. Not surprisingly the apps functionality’s decreased after the buyouts. This has been especially true in the last couple of years. The GUI's became full of bloat ware, ads or niche features that crowded out the main function of weather reporting. Forecasts also became unreliable as they seemed constrained by the connection of the app to the data. We later found out how some corporations were letting go of meteorologists in favor of depending strictly on computer analysis. Of course computers/servers are needed as core handlers to efficiently collate, analyze, store and deliver large sums of data. But not having boots on the ground hampers pinpointing current conditions, for news reporting purposes, in regional localities especially when dealing with rural areas. Disgusted we finally dumped The Weather Channel app and started using NOAH on a web browser which was not very convenient. Luckily, I had read a review on The Weather Channel app that mentioned this app. Having tried out a dozen or so before this one, and being totally unimpressed, I figured why not give it one more try. Lo and behold this was what we were hoping for! I hope this is never bought out because it's the best of the best. If I had one suggestion it would be to make the icons for hourly forecasts and radar map a brighter color other than white. We have old eyes and that would help us greatly. Thanks so much for a carefully thought out GUI and many other useful features which enhance weather reporting. We will definitely be recommending this app.

EVERY station they selected by default is COMPLETELY INACCURATE. And NWS SOURCES ARE KEPT BEHIND A SECOND PAY WALL. RIDICULOUS

The most comprehensive & supported weather app ever, & has stood the test of time. Worth every penny of the low, onetime price. It’s the only one I’ve found that has surface maps to clearly show pressure system activity. There’s layers you can toggle for various types of storms, snowfall, driving difficulty, & importantly recently - smoke cover. The smoke tracking is far superior to what my State reports, & is critical. I wish for better pollen tracking, but the app relies on local stations & sadly mine closed. The downstate station is another microclimate entirely. Bravo WeatherMate Pro!! Any problems I’ve have over the many years get a swift response & are solved by an update. Highly recommend!!

Great app, but complcations on apple watch 10 os11.1 still not updating

I PAID for an app that doesn’t alert me to watches/warnings! I have reset notifications and settings in the app and nothing. So it’s always a surprise when I open the app. Fix this issue or I get a refund and use something else

Love this.Tells me everything. Got the pro version and it works great on All my apple products. On the watch it is the best. All info I need is there for travel,walking. Day by day and hour by hour. Love it. Update. Followed me flawlessly from USA to an off the beaten path area of Canada. Still provides accurate up to date forecasts. Still my weather app of choice years later. Update again. Still my go to,even in horrible year 2020…update Dec. 2024. I tried newbie’s & other and this app? STILL the BEST! .

I decided to get this weather app because I was tired of the ad commercials and inaccurate weather information. For the very little cost of this app, it was well worth the long term accurate weather service I’m now getting. I will say if you want a real good weather app. This is your correct one to have!

Spot on forecast, out performs TV weather forecasters every time. Great for outdoor activity planning. Great for real time monitoring of weather & storms.

This is without a doubt the best weather app I have ever used. Weather Mate is the only one you’ll ever need!

Not getting the refresh, map... On the touch screen. Have to scroll to the bottom to get this. In my opinion this is not a Fix. It's a lazy work around. This hasn't work in months.

11/23/24 - Apple Watch problem was immediately fixed. 11/13/23 - Excellent (at this time) - accurate and easily provides all of the information I need. My main, go to, weather program. ( past comments) Program works extremely well at this time. Excellent support - After contacting the developer today with my problem below, I received an IMMEDIATE response (which explained the situation). Occasionally, the program opens to show weather in early January. After closing background process and then reopening the program, the problem seems to disappear.

My weatherMate widgets all have blank white appearances. Please update and correct the “contact us” error as well. Thanks. I prefer this one over many many others Ive tried. I refer to the widget many times a day and if I press it it’s quite QUICKLY giving me a whole lot more of details and info on several locations of my choosing. This app is worth it small price for a radarized widget capability. ♡´･ᴗ･`♡

I chose this originally because it is one of the few weather mapping apps I’ve run across with a “fronts” layer. In my area, the location of high and low pressure centers and the nature of the fronts between them are very helpful in understanding what weather changes I can expect. The wind animation feature, something I haven’t seen before, is very well conceived and executed! It shows me (motorcyclist, sailor, and rotorcraft pilot) at a brief glance how surface winds are flowing and how that might change in time. Combined w radar and fronts layers, I can tell a lot about what to expect in my day. When I got the app originally, the free version ads delayed the opening of the map feature, but once I paid to remove them, the app has performed well. I’ve recently begun using the (new?) option to show the map first upon opening the app, which has been very convenient. Overall, this app is working extremely well for what I need to know about the weather.

By far the best weather app out there in every category by a wide margin. I’m pretty fussy and I can’t cite anything wrong it. Best purchase I ever made in the App Store.

I use this for charters and it’s accurate. The graphics are clear and concise. I recommend this as the number 1 weather app.

The best weather app out there. The layout and functionality is great. Widgets and Apple Watch functions are great. Wendy with support was excellent when the widget stpped working correctly with an iOS update- she responded quickly, they looked into what the cause was, and had an update in a week or two

Map should have a dark mode that automatically changes with the system not just the option to switch it to light and dark. Make it automatic.

ty 4 update for icon tint/shade. can the initial intro screen also follow the light/dark theme of the device or be permanently dark? that would be so helpful to those of us looking at the app frequently in low light settings. thank you for an app that is informative and attractive. i use it many times in a day.

This is the best weather app I’ve ever tried. It’s my go-to app for weather. Best radar, settings, options. The layout works well. I can include all my favorite weather stations. This app does not disappoint!

Dont know why I tried this app. But so far there is a lot to like. I mainly use my radar pro for the radar. I am finding myself really liking the radar map on this app too. I gives lots of info on the map. I like that I can see the fronts on the map. I also like to see active alerts from NOAA on the map. Along with storm data. I am liking the app more all the time. Update Feb 2020 I have come to use this app alot. Living in the Cascade Shadow I have not found any app that gets the forecast right for here. Including this app, but it does get pretty close.

I love the amount of rain & snow forecasted.
